Alexandra Elim Church 156 Tarbert Streeet, Alexandra, Central Otago Sunday Service: 10am
Kaibigan Project Helping destitute street dwellers in Manila, through Tear Fund NZ's partner, Center For Community Transformation, restoring them to mainstream life again, by giving them food, helping them to restore their dignity, training them for work, re-uniting them with their families, and bringing many to know Christ.
Fellowship 66 In 2008 we supported Micro-Enterprise through Tear Fund in the Philippines. We committed ourselves to raising a total of $12,000 NZ to create a bank fund available for lending to Philippino people who would not otherwise qualify for a bank loan, to either set themselves up in business, or expand an existing business. Borrowers have to pay back their loans and help to train others to become self-supporting. Tear Fund’s goal is to create an "Enterprise for every family".
Pastor's Vehicle One of our youth went to Africa on a mission trip and returned with a desire to provide a vehicle for her host pastor in Africa. He had oversight of quite a number of widespread small churches and in order to visit them was obliged to walk many miles, or ride a bike. He was greatly blessed to receive a monetary gift enabling him to buy a suitably strong and rugged vehicle.
