Alexandra Elim Church 156 Tarbert Streeet, Alexandra, Central Otago Sunday Service: 10am
The opportunity arose for the church group to take on a cleaning contract at the local supermarket. It was a commitment which involved one night’s work of approximately two hours per week for most of the church’s men and women and sometimes two or three nights per week for the men who had to operate the large machines. Thanks to the committed efforts of all those involved, and to the many donations most gratefully recevied, we have paid off our building and part of the land in just under four years. A barbecue evening was held to celebrate the finish of the cleaning contract. Unfortunately a number of people were not able to be in the photo.
How we came to have our building:- After prophetic words over a number of years, of encouragement to find or build a suitable building, the redundant “Art Studio” became available and the church made the decision to purchase it.
We give thanks to God for His miraculous provision in making this all possible.
Founding Pastors Jim and Pearl Rentoul.
Our building, freshly painted, with murals by Andrew Price and the children and youth of the church.
